COCOON Luxusbetten is a family-owned business based in Düsseldorf, selling beds, mattresses, and furniture in both wholesale and retail since 1996.
Originally, our main focus was on interior design. Over 20 years ago, we were one of the first companies in the German market to begin importing continental beds from the USA and the UK. We’ve always believed in our products, and with this passion, we’ve gained the trust of our customers. Thanks to this enthusiasm, COCOON Luxusbetten has become the largest premium bed retailer in Germany, selling between 3,000 and 5,000 beds annually — worldwide.
We started with stores in Düsseldorf and Cologne. Since then, we have expanded to 14 locations across Europe, with operations in Austria since 2005 and Italy since 2018.
Our clientele is international, as we constantly align ourselves with the latest global trends. Every customer request is personally handled and implemented in the manner of a family business. This is why custom-made beds and the fulfillment of special requests, such as processing customer fabrics, are a natural part of our service.
Due to our market position, we are regularly contacted by international hotel chains from both home and abroad. We do not limit ourselves to supplying beds and mattresses — we also offer complete furnishing for entire properties based on individual design specifications and precise cost plans. This full-service solution is one of our unique selling points.

Our central warehouse at COCOON Luxury Beds in Düsseldorf spans approximately 5000 m², giving us the capacity to maintain over 100 beds and 500 mattresses in all standard sizes, ready for immediate delivery. We manage the delivery process with our own fleet of six vehicles, ensuring our beds are brought to customers across Germany, complete with on-site assembly.
Multiple generations work together in our company. This inspiring environment with flat hierarchies and real opportunities for advancement is something our employees have come to appreciate. Some have been with us for over 15 years, including the heads of logistics and warehousing. Our logistics manager even completed his apprenticeship with us and has successfully developed his career here.
COCOON Luxury Beds is the exclusive importer for the U.S. brand King Koil and the British traditional manufacturers Avebury and Staples. But our product catalog doesn’t just feature established brands — we also give new and innovative manufacturers the chance to carve out a space in the market, such as Sleep Sense and Best Spring.
Every new product is thoroughly tested by us in the family business, and it is only included in our catalog if it meets our standards for quality and design. With full confidence, we offer the 25-year COCOON guarantee across all beds and mattresses in our collection, regardless of brand.
