This heritage-listed hotel, built in 1859, offers 70 rooms that have been completely redesigned by COCOON, blending the historic charm of classic interiors with a modern interpretation. Located next to the beach promenade of Varberg, south of Gothenburg, the Varbergs Stadshotell & Asia Spa offers its guests a fusion of stylish turn-of-the-century ambiance and Eastern influences, combining to create a true aesthetic delight.
Out of the total 178 hotel rooms, 66 have been designed by COCOON as individually styled boutique rooms, each possessing its own unique character in both decor and design.
COCOON has equipped the beds during the redesign with the particularly comfortable KING KOIL HAMILTON mattresses. In combination with the highly elastic VISCO toppers from the same model range, hotel guests experience a sleeping sensation that fills them with anticipation for a restful sleep as soon as they sink into the mattress.
